Leeds based amateur side, Wortley Dragons, have continued their support of the RFL Benevolent Fund with a donation of £250. The Pennine League Division 2 club have been stalwart supporters of the fund and operate a sponsorship share scheme from monies raised during the close season. The club regard themselves at the heart of their community and recognize they have a social responsibility to the wider game of rugby league. The club has seen at first hand the work done by the RFL Benevolent Fund and recognize the work it does behind the scenes for the whole of rugby league. Wortley Dragons are proud to be associated with its work and support it at every level it can added Alan Stephenson, club Chairman. The club will carry the RFL Benevolent Funds marketing logo “Try Assist” on both its new kits for the forthcoming season.
