Rugby League supporters Danny Frank and Ash Johnson have decided to walk the 15 mile route between Headingley Carnegie and Wakefield’s Belle Vue.
The walk will take place on Sunday July 12th, leaving Headingley at 8:45am and reaching Wakefield at approximately 2:00pm. It coincides with the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats home fixture against Leeds Rhinos, which kicks off at 3:30pm.

“We have had a terrific response, with over 50 supporters pledging to join the walk and there is no better charity for rugby league supporters than the RFL Benevolent Fund”, said co-organiser Ash Johnson.

“Anybody wishing to join the walk, which will incorporate the A61 to Wakefield, should please ring me on 07738 295510. It is going to be great fun for a great cause”, added Danny Frank, the event’s co-organiser.
