Jimmy Gittens and Pete Stephenson have joined the star studded team in trying to complete the Carnegie Cup Challenge. The team will embark on a seven hundred mile trek across France by bike, before navigating the Thames in a Dragon Boat and running a half marathon to deliver the match ball to Wembley in time for the Carnegie Challenge Cup Final in August.

Pete and Jimmy join members of the Steve Prescott Foundation who have accepted the challenge to raise monies for the RFL Benevolent Fund. Both Pete and Jimmy who sustained career ending injuries will take part on specially adapted quadbikes designed to help them complete the challenge.

“We are grateful to Carnegie and all the Sponsors for their support. It has been tremendous working with the Steve Prescott Foundation and all the boys. We are looking forward to the challenge, having fun and raising monies for the RFL Benevolent Fund,” added Pete and Jimmy.
